The Korean program offers various activities associated with Korean culture and society for the University of Iowa students and community people. The Korean cultural activities include cooking demonstrations, festive holiday events (e.g. Seollal and Chuseok), speech contest, K-pop contest, music concerts by Korean musicians, reading events by Korean authors and academic lectures on Korean studies. These activities have provided meaningful opportunities for students and community people to gain a richer understanding of Korean language and culture.
