Dr. Wenyang Zhai has taught the following courses at University of Iowa: Chinese Popular Culture, China Beyond Walls, Transnational Chinese Cinema and Chinese Literature: Poetry. Her research interests include Modern Chinese literature and culture, diaspora literature, Chinese cinema studies and literary translation.
